Indivisible Central Indiana hosted a very rich and full Empty Chair Town Hall (without Sen Todd Young) on March 19.

Nearly 500 concerned and motivated Hoosiers attended with another 90 people watching the live stream from Broadway UMC who hosted this community. About 60 people spoke and with truly moving, articulate, and astute remarks. We've received hundreds of comments from folks who attended. Such as:

  • Amazing turnout.., so many people made me feel proud!!!

  • An inspiring evening knowing so many are as concerned as I.

  • Electric.

  • Empowering! Speakers were short and sweet.

  • Excellent comments from the speakers and the crowd.  It was nice to feel the solidarity in these frightening times.

  • Excellent event!  Very encouraging to see such a large turnout.  All the speakers were inspirational and knowledgeable.  I appreciated so many people with the courage to speak up.

  • Excellent! I was awestruck by all the speakers. Not an issue forgotten! Thanks

  • excellent.  Well organized, good sound and audiovisual, comfortable seating, well-spoken participants with many points of view.  I hope that Young watches it!  I will call and remind him :)

  • Excellent. Todd should have been there
